Unjani Clinic is a network of Black women-owned clinics providing a full range of holistic primary healthcare services at low cost to employed but uninsured patients, conveniently located at their point of need. The model empowers professional nurses through coaching and support to manage and ultimately own their clinics within a sustainable structure, as well as create jobs by employing support staff.
Driven by a desire to render affordable and quality healthcare services to poor communities and create employment, Sr. Salome Moletsane, a skilled primary healthcare specialist with over 20 years of experience in healthcare management and operations opened Unjani Clinic Soshanguve: Block P in December 2021. To Sr. Salome Moletsane, the Unjani Clinic brand represents value for money for the patients, offering them the ability to restore their health and dignity. This is especially crucial in South Africa, where getting proper healthcare is a serious struggle for many of our citizens.
